CLINICAL INTERNSHIPS & SURGICAL EXPOSURE

Oct 2021 – Feb 2022, Internship – Obstetrics & Gynecology | Khmer Soviet Friendship Hospital (KSFH), Phnom Penh. It was the worse experience of my first internship. 

Apr 2022 – Sep 2022 : Internship – Pediatric Surgery, IPD & ER/ ICU | Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC), Siem Reap. It was the best experience of my internship of all time. I Rotated through the IPD, Surgical Unit, and ER/ICU; focused on pediatric surgical stabilization. This broad exposure allowed me to master the complexities of different patient demographics, from neonatal emergencies to geriatric surgical care. AHC was the place where guide me want to be a good surgeon. 

Oct 2022 – Mar 2023 : Internship – Traumatology & Visceral Surgery | Cambodia-China Friendship Preah Kossamak Hospital (CCFPKH) also known as Loksong Hospital, Phnom Penh. I Assisted in surgical procedures for fracture management and abdominal trauma. Further, I developed proficiencies in wound debridement and postoperative monitoring. PKH was the place where guide me to become a truma surgeon then general surgeon. 

Apr 2023 – Sep 2023 : Internship – Internal Medicine & Emergency Department | HOPE Medical Center and Preah Ket Mealea Hospital (PKMH), Phnom Penh. I practiced managed acute presentations in the Emergency Department (ED) and coordinated inpatient care plans.
